Sea fasteners Thames JV

Summary: 
For Thames JV we produced and installed sea fastening structures. We placed the sea fastening components on a pontoon in the Westerhofhaven in Vlissingen. The sea fasteners are intended for decommissioning an oil rig. All fit up and welding was carried out in accordance with EN 1090-2 EXC3. Thames JV is a joint venture between Boskalis and Scaldis.

Outfitting:
AMICON provided the entire outfitting of the sea fastening on board the pontoon, in combination with our work container with all necessary tools and welding equipment. All structures are marked on the pontoon by means of 3D measurement in advance. All field welds were subsequently 100% NDT tested.
