Lock gate drives
Summary:
AMICON supplied the complete lock gate drives for the Urkersluis lock. The drives are made of steel. The project consisted of welding, machining, preserving and assembling the lock gate drives. AMICON also supplied the spring buffers for absorbing the shocks when opening and closing the doors.

Assembly:
The entire drives and spring buffers were assembled and tested and delivered at the contractor’s location. Assembly involved assembling the welded assemblies in combination with the machined parts, bearings and bushings. After assembly, AMICON extensively tested the drives for their operation.
