Passerelle & Provision Doors

Summary:
AMICON produced three tansom doors for Megayacht Lou Spirit. The doors are used as Passerelle & Provision Doors at the rear of the yacht. AMICON supplied the aluminum doors and steel coamings fully operating and tested. The complete doors were delivered as a turn key product. The project was produced entirely according to Lloyds Register’s requirements and survey.

Specifications:
Door material: Aluminum EN AW 5083 H321 & H111
Material Coaming: Steel S355 EH36, SS316 and Duplex
All material provided with Lloyds Register 3.2 certificate
Operation via hydromotors
Production standard: Lloyds register SSC rules

Test setup:
AMICON delivered the doors fully functional. By means of a test set-up, we extensively test whether the doors close properly. We also check whether the system works properly and whether the door fits properly in the rubbers.

NoBo:
Notified body Lloyds Register was involved throughout the project. A Surveyor is present at every delivery and test. An inspection and test plan is used to keep track of which production processes have been completed and purchased.
