Mooring Platforms

Summary:
AMICON built these two mooring platforms for the bow of Oceanco’s Yacht Number 720. AMICON supplied the complete aluminium doors and steel coamings. The doors were delivered as a turnkey product. The project was built entirely according to the requirements and survey of Lloyds Register.

Specifications:
Door material: Aluminium EN AW 5083 H321
Coaming material: Steel Grade A and SS316
All material has a 3.2 Lloyds Register certification
Operation via hydraulically driven cylinders
Production standard: Lloyds Register SSC rules

Test setup:
AMICON delivered the doors fully functional. We extensively test whether the doors close properly by means of a test setup. In addition, we check whether the system works properly and whether the door fits properly in the rubbers.

NoBo:
The notified body Lloyds Register was involved throughout the project. A Curveyor is present at every delivery and test. Also during commissioning and test phase. An inspection and test plan is used to keep track of which production processes have been completed and tested.
