Crew door

Summary:
This ”crew door” is a custom assignment that lies exactly within the skills of AMICON. The ”door” is made entirely of aluminium and the ”coaming” of steel and stainless steel. The door serves as the skin door of a mega yacht.

Specifications:
Material: Aluminium EN AW 5083 H111
Coaming material: Steel Grade A and SS316
All material with Lloyds 3.2 certificate
Delivery standard: Lloyds Register SSC rules
Driven by hydraulic cylinders and winch

NoBo:
The notified body Lloyds Register was involved throughout the project. A Curveyor is present at every delivery and test. Also during commissioning and test phase. An inspection and test plan is used to keep track of which production processes have been completed and tested.
