Moonpool Trolleys
Summary:
We designed and produced two “Moonpool Trolleys” for the Survey Vessel Geo Ranger. The Moonpool Trolleys are made of steel and stainless steel and serve as a holder for various measuring equipment under the ship. The trolleys are hydraulically controlled and can put various equipment under the ship with a stroke of almost 2 metres.
Specifications:
Material S355 and SS316
Manufactured according to EN 1090-2
All parts are hot dip galvanized according to ISO 1461
Maximum operating speed: 8 knots
Engineering:
The entire product development and engineering was provided in-house by AMICON. Both the construction and the system were developed based on customer specific wishes.
